What you will do:
The Social Media/Content Strategy Intern will be responsible for collaborating with the marketing team in developing and implementing marketing concepts for brand campaigns across various sectors and platforms.  The intern will assist in developing and implementing effective, comprehensive communications and social media strategies, plans and/or materials for ATSG and its subsidiary business units.

  • The successful candidate will play an active role in creating briefings, brochures, video content, internal communications and newsletters and promoting that content across the appropriate platforms. 
  • The candidate will work closely with other team members including: Marketing Team, Individual Business Units, Business Development Team, Executives, Human Resources and Recruiting Teams with an internal-consultant approach through analysis, design, build, validate, deploy, and train.
  • The intern will perform analysis and insight into key metrics and provide recomendations for improving lead and acquisition programs while benchmarking metrics.
  • Develop additional content for trade show exhibitions, advertising insertion, collaterals, customer presentations and investor relations.
  • Support development of communication plans;
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you need:

  • The intern must have demonstrated ability to write in a variety of formats, including social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. 
  • The intern must have a basic understanding of graphic design/layout principles and production; demonstrated competence in at least one of the following areas: media, advertising, employee communications, financial communications, and project management and perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Experience with creative social media advertising to create awareness of the company's brand, products, services and recruiting.
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of promotion budgeting for a variety of social media platforms
